Managing Nominal Codes

Nominal Codes are the way in which financail information is passed back to your accounting package through the Nominal Report. You may have as many Nominal Codes as you wish, and they may be set up to reflect the way that the Club operates.

Nominal Codes fall into to categories:

P&L items are Profit and Loss sheet items and generally reflect revenue and expenses at the Club. So such items as Bar Sales would fall into this category.

Balance Sheet items reflect how the money moves around the system to balance the money earned or spent on Profit and Loss items. Such items include your Bank Account or the Member Control Accounts.

Click on a column heading to sort as necessary.

You may add new items by clicking on the Add button.

Just enter the deatils, select whether it is a Balance Sheet or P N L (Profit and Loss) item and click on the Save button. It will be added to the list.
